You will provide Clinical Leadership to the Hospitals within the Region. Responsible for developing and implementing the clinical strategies, policies and processes, staffing and financial measures in those departments and be accountable for the results achieved. Deputising for the Regional Director as needed.

This role will require travel to Hampshire, Surrey and Central London.

In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for the planning of patient-center healthcare; using clinical decision making that is in-line with relevant regulatory body guidance and CQC outcome requirements, with an emphasis on excellence.

You will be a Registered General Nurse with NMC or an ODP registered with the HPC and have demonstrable Leadership experience from within the NHS or a private setting. You’ll be able to use your skills and experience to problem solve, anticipate and prioritise appropriately using a proactive, positive attitude and common sense approach.

A qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri operative care and previous experience in Ophthalmology is desirable.
